Road miles are from Linda Mar Beach and times are typical off-peak. Highway 1 through town is the only real route, and summer weekends and beach days change the arithmetic, so we quote with that in the schedule.

Ranges are published so you can budget before you call. Coast jobs are quoted with real drive times in them, because CA-1 on a July Saturday is not the same road it is on a Tuesday morning.

Yes. The highway through town handles motorcoaches, including the Devil's Slide tunnels heading south. The constraint is parking, not passage, so we plan where the vehicle waits between the drop and the pickup before the day rather than improvising on a shoulder.
Yes. The street closures move parking to the edge of town, so the job is a continuous loop from the outer lots. We size it on laps per hour and usually put a double-decker on the busiest window, which keeps the number of vehicles on Palmetto down.
San Francisco (SFO, about 9 road miles over the hill), Oakland (OAK, about 26 miles) and San Jose (SJC, about 42 miles). SFO is close enough that we track the flight and hold the vehicle rather than staging it on the coast side and hoping.
The operator. Umbrella Global Bus owns the vehicles, employs the drivers and runs its own dispatch and shop from South San Francisco under CPUC TCP 0037963 and USDOT 3126263. Nothing on a Pacifica job is handed to a subcontractor and no marketplace fee is added to the rate.
